Biographical Statement
I originally studied Fine Art at Edinburgh University and Art College where I majored in painting. Now, on the other side of the world, after 27 years away from the art world, I feel privileged to be given a second chance to immerse myself totally in my art.
This time around however, my main interest has shifted from the two dimensional to the three dimensional, and, for the last six years, I have been studying Ceramics at Hornsby TAFE. My sculptures are mainly fired ceramic with some mixed media additions. I work solely for the pleasure of creating although I have sold a few pieces over the years.
