ARTIST STATEMENT:

The essence of Art to me is an incredibly personal experience.  No matter who you are or where you are from the art form produced is unique.

I suppose my own reaction to life, as I have known it has been to produce pieces of Art, whether they be Sculpture or Paintings, with the intent to be pleasing to the eye.   My own life has been extremely difficult at times and rather than allow that to influence me in a negative way I have chosen instead to go into my creative world, my own sort of therapy.  Some would say perhaps I've not faced my fears, I think it has helped me cope with them.

I am largely a self taught Artist/Sculptor with a variety of artistic experience behind me.
I have been Drawing and Painting ever since I can remember, and have been drawn passionately to Sculpture since 1995.

Some of my work has a surreal theme and contemporary edge and other works are traditionally realistic.  l have exhibited and received both public and private commissions for my work.

Whatever the artistic journey I hope the end result is a pleasurable one.
