Argo Ho is a Hong Kong born
sculptor currently living in Sydney.
He studied Fine Arts at the Chinese
University of Hong Kong. Since 1983, he has participated in various
exhibitions and public competitions.
Argo has a strong passion in sculpture since he was young.
His works are abstract, complex and more reminiscent of geometric and
mechanical forms. Argo often works in bronze, but also in a diverse range of
other materials, including wood, steel and clay. His pieces of sculpture did not spring from a single
concrete image or thought, but through intimate interactions between him and
the works.
In
2008, Argo organized his first solo exhibition in Hong
Kong with a display of 25 abstract bronze sculptures. His works
are collected by art organizations and private collectors.
